Conference Registration
Registration and payment is due by June 6. If you would like to attend the conference, we encourage you to commit to being physically present for the entire conference.
We highly recommend staying at the venue for a more focused D2K experience. However, we also have a commuter rate for those who wish to commute to the venue from home. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in the commuter rates.
*We ask that you utilize your class consciousness in your decision making about what you pay. If you are part of a well-resourced organization/institution (corporate or otherwise) OR are financially able, please pay at the higher rate. If you have any questions about how to make this decision, please talk with a board member.
To further our commitment as an organization to acknowledge the unceded lands on which we gather, and to dismantle ongoing legacies of settler colonialism, we are including $10 onto registration rates to contribute to the Amah Mutsun Land Trust: www.amahmutsunlandtrust.org. We will make a collective D2K donation to support their stewardship work to restore access to ancestral lands. If you would like to add an additional donation, please do so directly through their website.
Financial Accessibility
D2K has a strong commitment to ensuring the conference is accessible to participants regardless of monetary resources while simultaneously covering the costs of the conference. We ask that the community join us by holding yourself accountable as you prepare to make decisions about your registration, membership fees, and request for scholarship funding. Please consider your current access to resources and experience with class privilege, the value of the conference, creative ways to finance your registration and how the sponsorship of others benefits the diversity and inclusion at the conference. Your ability to pay full rate and make financial contributions beyond the stated costs is greatly appreciated!
Scholarships
If you need a scholarship in order to participate, please email the amount you need that makes attendance at D2K possible for you: d2kcircle [at] gmail.com. Please do this step BEFORE registering. Once scholarship requests are received, the board will assess our capacity to meet these requests, doing our best to meet your needs. You will receive a discount code to register.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, please let us know ASAP. A $150 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. The remaining registration fee (excluding membership fees) will be refunded.
Nominations
Over the past 32 years, we have built a vibrant community of caring, passionate, and wise DEIJ practitioners and thought leaders through the practice of D2K alumni nominating people to join us for the annual conference; people who understand and resonate with the values and intentions of this community. If you would like to nominate someone to join this unique community. Please send us your nominations by February 28, 2025.
*Please note that only current dues paying D2K members are able to nominate. If you are not a current member, please renew your membership online.
Donations
We wholeheartedly welcome contributions to our scholarship fund, which allows us to extend full or partial scholarships to members of our community who would not be able to attend otherwise due to financial constraint. Please consider directing your support to our community through your one-time or ongoing tax deductible donation. Any donation is greatly appreciated. There are two ways you can donate:
-
Donate online
-
Contribute by check, payable to D2K and mail to: D2K - 1834 Brooktree Way, Pleasanton, CA 94566. Write in “donation” in the memo section of your check.
We thank you in advance for your donation!
COVID Safety Protocols
We are committed to prioritizing the health of everyone who comes to the D2K conference, including members and the St. Francis staff. The following are the current required safety protocols, which are subject to change:
-
Negative COVID-19 Test: All participants will take a rapid antigen test upon arrival to the St. Francis Retreat Center. Individuals will not be admitted to the D2K conference if their test result is positive for COVID.
-
Ventilation: All indoor spaces that we gather in will have open windows to increase ventilation.
-
Symptom Check: All are to monitor their symptoms daily and notify a board member if their symptoms indicate COVID.
-
Sick Policy: If a participant becomes sick they will be asked to wear a mask and isolate from others and if serious, return home. We will also ask them to take an antigen self-test onsite, and if they test positive for COVID-19, they must exit the retreat. If they cannot return home due to travel restrictions, we will support their quarantine to the best of our ability.
If you have any questions, please contact us at d2kcircle (at) gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
